Anne Arundel County has a good library system. Most locations in the county have easy access to the system. If you're in the area it's worthwhile to drop by and see your local branch.
No surprises with the general bookstores in the area. The megabookstores have driven out small competition leaving us with
Barnes and Noble in the Harbour Center
and Borders in Annapolis Mall.
